By being the first to introduce the latest nylon materials of the time into skiwear, the brand established its foundation. In 1978, for the Dhaulagiri expedition in the Himalayas, the company developed the first down wear in Japan capable of withstanding extreme altitudes (8,167m above sea level), supporting the summit climb.
Developed through such experience, phenix outdoor's product line is created by pursuing the commitment of a Japanese brand, including world-class advanced sewing techniques, an unceasing challenge for functional development, and uncompromising product testing.
